Kelly Horton from Mecca Bingo Brierley Hill and Benj ‘BingooBenj’ Maycock from Mecca Bingo Oldbury have been nominated for the 2026 WhichBingo Awards.
Only five people nationwide are nominated in the Best Bingo Caller category, including Ms Horton, who said: “I was absolutely amazed to be one of just five people nationwide, to be nominated for WhichBingo’s Best Bingo Caller award.
“I love my job and at every session I aim to give customers the best evening.
“It will mean so much to me, and to them, if I win the title.”
She currently holds the title of Mecca Bingo Caller of the Year for her energy, customer rapport and crowd-pleasing line dancing, which she also uses while volunteering at Wollescote Community Centre.
Mr Maycock is nominated in the Best Bingo Personality category.
He previously won both Mecca’s Caller of the Year and National Bingo Game’s Caller of the Year titles in 2022, thanks to his original bingo rap, B!ngo!
He said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be nominated for Best Bingo Personality at the WhichBingo Awards.
“I love challenging the stereotype of bingo and encouraging more people to give it a go – it’s a great night out.
“It’s a game that brings people together and gives me a platform to connect with, and give back to, the community.
“This nomination is for everyone who’s supported me over the last five years.

Voters will go into a draw, run by WhichBingo, for the chance to win vouchers from a retailer of their choice, worth £250.
