Sarah Moore, CEO, Black Country Chamber
The Black Country Chamber is gearing up to host the second installment of its acclaimed series, The Lifecycle of a Woman in Business, with the next event titled “Own Your Power & Keep Your Sh!t Together.” Designed to celebrate the evolving journeys of women in leadership and enterprise, the series is fast becoming a cornerstone of the Chamber’s business calendar. Following a successful debut earlier this year, this edition will shine a spotlight on health and wellbeing—a vital subject for sustaining resilience and productivity in both personal and professional life.
Attendees can look forward to a delicious networking brunch, enhanced by a fashion showcase from Dress Senze Couture, featuring bespoke designs created to celebrate individuality and confidence. The programme will then feature three outstanding speakers, each addressing different aspects of wellbeing, followed by a lively panel discussion and Q&A session.
Sarah Moore, Chief Executive Officer of the Black Country Chamber, said the event is about much more than professional development—it’s about connection and empowerment.
“Women today are navigating multiple roles—as leaders, entrepreneurs, carers, and changemakers,” Moore said. “This series is about giving women the tools and the confidence to embrace those roles with strength, resilience, and authenticity. It’s about rewriting the rules of leadership and creating a supportive community where women can thrive at every age and every stage.”
The Chamber has positioned the series as a platform for women to: Reduce stress, build resilience, and boost productivity. Share stories and experiences in a space of authenticity and trust. Gain inspiration from peers and thought leaders. Leave empowered to inspire the next generation of female leaders.
Moore added, “We are proud to host conversations that matter and to provide opportunities for women to not only develop but also to support and uplift one another. This event is not just about leaving inspired—it’s about becoming part of a movement for change.”
The Chamber expects strong attendance from women across the Midlands business community, making it one of the region’s most anticipated events of the autumn calendar.
