Trespass to Outfit Glasgow 2026 Workforce and Volunteers in Historic Return

Scottish outdoor brand becomes first to design uniforms for two editions of the Games

Scottish outdoor clothing brand Trespass will once again play a starring role at the Commonwealth Games, returning as the Official Uniform Partner for Glasgow 2026. The appointment makes Trespass the first brand in history to design and supply uniforms for two editions of the Games, following its celebrated role at Glasgow 2014.

Headquartered in Glasgow, Trespass will design, produce, and supply uniforms for thousands of workforce members and volunteers who will be the face of the Games next summer. The outfits will be crafted using Trespass’ signature technical materials, combining comfort, durability, and style to withstand the demands of the event.

For many volunteers, the uniform is more than just attire—it’s a badge of belonging. Sarah Quinn, a Glasgow 2014 volunteer, reflected:

“Receiving my uniform was the moment the Games truly became real. It gave me an instant sense of pride and connection. I can’t wait to see the 2026 design.”

The 2026 Commonwealth Games will take place from 23 July to 2 August, bringing together 3,000 athletes from 74 nations and territories. Competitions will be held across 10 sports and six Para sports at some of Scotland’s most iconic venues.

Trespass, originally founded as Jacobs and Turner Limited in 1938, became the brand we know today in 1984 under the leadership of Afzal and Akmal Khushi. The company now operates 299 stores worldwide, offering a wide range of activewear and outdoor equipment.

Afzal Khushi CBE and Akmal Khushi D. Univ, joint founders of Trespass, expressed their excitement:

“When we designed the uniform in 2014, we thought it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. To do it again, in our home city, is truly special. We know how much these uniforms mean—not just for practicality, but for unity and identity—and we’re working hard to create something iconic for Glasgow 2026.”

Jade Gallagher, Chief Operating Officer of Glasgow 2026, welcomed the partnership: “The uniform is the first visual representation of the Games that athletes and visitors see. Trespass has the expertise, creativity, and local pride to deliver a design that embodies Glasgow’s vibrant culture while meeting our commitment to sustainability.”
